I like to visit different BJJ schools from time to time and I had a great time at True Believer. Jake, the instructor for the class I attended, is an excellent and patient teacher who is methodical in his approach to teaching technique. He helps to think about the principles at work and not just the moves. I had a great time rolling with the students and teacher there. Good intensity and great technique. Good times all around.
Hospitality to visitors is always important to me. I was welcomed here and did not feel like the odd man out at any time. If mat culture is as important to you as technique and aggression, this is a good group to train with.
